Stark combines what is expressed through poetry
with what is exposed through photography.
Simple. Bare. Unadorned. Powerful.
The premiere issue of Stark is scheduled to be published in 2012. The editors seek a full representation of the range and diversity of contemporary poetry. At the same time, we expect every issue to reflect our overall standards of literary excellence.
Stark will be an art quality production with black and white nude photos of the poets. Each poet that submits to Stark does so with the understanding that, if selected, the poet will be asked to sit for a nude photography session in the New York metropolitan area. If outside that area, please contact the editors at starkanthology@gmail.com before submitting.
Submissions for this first issue are being accepted until January 17, 2012.
Send 4-6 poems, any style or subject. Previously unpublished are preferred, unless we've corresponded already.
Please include contact information along with a short bio with your submission.

Please submit 4-6 unpublished poems at a time. For those resubmitting work, per our correspondence, send as many as necessary.
